i know the pro-game doesnt allow it, but are GPS rangefinders like a skycaddie allowed for high school golfers in a tournament? does anybody know why or why not?
they are allowed in matches but not in tournaments. im on my high school team and some kids here use them in the matches but you will get DQ’d if you use it in the tournament

nope, because it is an unfair advantage…besides, only losers use those things…you know the guy with all titleist stuff but slices every ball

They’re not allowed in my area and shouldn’t be. Golf is a game of feel, a game of hand-eye coordination. Most courses are generously marked and yardage books are available. Learn the yardage of your clubs and play the game. GPS is for resort golfers who think they can hit the shot if they have the exact yardage. Trust me, they can’t.
