Are bombshell pinseeker irons good?

I just got 2009 pinseeker bombshell irons. My dad didn’t want to spend to much, and the man at the store I bought it from said they were good. Any help?

General rule of golf: always blame your equipment.
On a seriously note, by the time you become proficient enough at the game, you will know how good your irons are.

whats the best type and deal on golf range finders?

Hacker –

One of the best ones out there is the Bushnell Pro 1600 Tournament Edition Laser Rangefinder with Pinseeker.

You can see the reviews and buy it here from Amazon:

Good Luck!

Two Questions about Golf Caddying?

I just started caddying today. I saw the other caddys cleaning peoples balls. I was wondering, how do I do this? I have a divot fixer. Should I place that behind the ball, clean it, and put it back? Whats the procedure?

Also, Im having alot of trouble finding yardage quickly, I was thinking of investing into a yardage finder. I only have about 40 dollars to spend on it though.

Something like this

http://www.amazon.com/Galileo-EGS-1-Electronic-Scope-Rangefinder/dp/B0006DPW04

or

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00012O7L0/ref=pd_cp_p_1?pf_rd_p=250314001&pf_rd_s=center-41&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B0006DPW04&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=01ZBBG89MW1TTTPN2CF1

Thanks!
Cleaning balls on the green.
Yeah, I see other caddys put quarters behind it, ect.

Leave the marking and lifting of the ball to the player unless he or she authorizes you to mark and lift the ball. That is allowable per USGA Rule 20-1.
As far as familiarizing yourself with the yardages, you should inquire in the pro shop about purchasing a yardage book. They usually cost 4 or 5 dollars and provide specific yardages from trees, bushes, traps and hazards. They are a must for any caddie.

Buying a telescope?

I am wanting to buy a new telescope. I want to buy a manageable and portable retractor. Price don’t matter. I was thinking of the 132mm triplet APO from William Optics. It is only 9kg and around 3.5 feet extended (2.5 feet contracted). I need to know if the people that have portable retractors, that what is a manageable aperture and size to get.
IF I got the 132mm APO i was also thinking of getting a 80mm and 30-50mm finders with a laser finder to point and direct instead of looking through scope or looking down the barrel every time to aim.
But i cant find any good 80mm finder scopes that have a small focal length. If i can find a short enough tube to have 6x(ish) with the 80mm with a 22.5 eyepiece then i will get the 80mm only cause then i can get a zoom eyepiece for it.7.5-22.5 (William Optics zoom eyepiece). then the power ranges from 6x to above 20x.
I also want a tracking alt-az mount for the whole shebang but i cant find any that support any load of this weight.
the reason i want the extra finding scope cause the view of the main scope could be way out of view(exaggeration) even if it is in the center of the finder for small objects. It is aligned correctly.
This is so i can find small objects better, don’t you think? the laser finder is a goot idea. From lumicon if you want to know
oh the set up of this telescope should be quick like this one. All i have to do is attach and align everything which takes like 2min. the mount- i want the alt-az mount but be a portable pier.
refractor. sorry

I’m not sure what a retractor telescope is. If you are looking for small and portable then try looking at an Astroscan telescope.

There are two big things you should look at when getting a telescope:

The mount, make sure it is a stable mount. (Best bet here is to NOT go to a department store.)

The aperture, the size of the lense for a Refractor, or the primary mirror for a Reflector.

Beyond that, eyepieces should be looked at after the telescope. Just remember, magnification is not the be all and end all, for most observing, magnification is largely useless.
